La Foret de Maple: A daycare in Verdun Montreal for children aged 0-5.

There was a little girl named Maple. Like most children, Maple loved to play and explore the world around her; to smell the flowers, to see the clouds, to touch the mud, to taste the cinnamon, and to hear the ducks by the water.

When you see her playing hide and seek, making up a game with sticks and stones or making a play house out of loose parts with her friends, you might think it’s just play. But in fact, it’s more than that, far more...

Play helps children make sense of their world, allowing them to take on and master roles they would otherwise be too fearful to take on. Play promotes imagination and creativity.

Play allows children to make decisions and discover their own interests.

Play allows children to work in groups, share and negotiate.

Play helps children work through their emotions...and there is so much more.

Our Goals

Our goal is to create a safe place of wonder, excitement and freedom where the enchantment and mysteries of childhood can come to life.

A place where children are surrounded by a carefully designed

environment that will enhance their learning experience, that includes art, science, geography and history, reading and writing, block building and pretend play areas.

A place where the caregivers serve as guides and mentors to the

children, truly caring about a child’s unique self and potential.

Our Program

Progam: Educational program, play-based and Montessori inspired.

Time: 7:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday

Meals: Freshly cooked, Daily healthy and homemade, 2 snacks, one lunch

Age: 10 months to 5 years
